I Come From..

I come from a home that is known to be perfection
A place where fathers work and mothers shop
The sterotype will never change,
But my family is key.
A house that isn't perfection, but filled with laughter,
Laughter that comes naturally from the characters that build it.
Money is just an object that doesnt give us happiness.
Happiness is formed with loyalty and connection, not blood.


I wanted to create a different vibe, one that struct my mind straight away, and that is my family. My family stick together and we mean everything to each other. I wanted to emphasise how money is only an object to us, and that we dont need it to make each other happy. A house that is full of laughter and loyalty is more important than anything inside it. The words 'connection' and 'loyalty' came to mind when creating the poem as I believe this is what you need to make a strong, close family.
